Whistleblowing
At SERIS, we aim to detect potentially fraudulent or unethical behavior at an early stage to effectively protect our company, employees, customers, and partners. This is why we encourage our employees and all our stakeholders to report their concerns regarding compliance with regulations or ethics to us, so that we can take the necessary corrective actions.
Whistleblower Hotline
Anyone who comes into contact with SERIS in the course of their work-related activities can use this hotline to report (potential) breaches.
What can be reported?
A breach is an act or omission that is unlawful and undermines the purpose or application of applicable regulations.
As a correct report is subject to a number of rules, we explain these briefly below:
A whistleblower report can be sent via the reporting channel below to klokkenluider@seris.be or alerte@seris.be by any person who is in contact with SERIS in the context of their work-related activities. This may therefore include both (internal or external) SERIS employees, as well as, for example, suppliers providing services to SERIS.
All breaches can be reported via this reporting channel, for example, a violation of regulations concerning:
• Data protection (GDPR)
• (Financial or social) fraud
• Public Procurement Act
• Environment
• Employment law
• Public health
Protection
Whistleblowers are protected against reprisals, such as dismissal or demotion. Naturally, this protection does not apply if a false report is deliberately submitted (for example, to discredit someone). In such cases, the whistleblower may face sanctions.
How to report an incident?
Your report will initially be handled by klokkenluider@seris.be.
You can submit a report either by name (providing your name) or anonymously:
If you wish to submit your report by name, please enter your “surname”, “first name” and email address.
